Wet Feet/Blue Planet Surf WPA National Race This Weekend June 30, 2012
This year Wet Feet is teaming with Blue Planet to bring you a bigger and better WPA National Race. The course is 7 miles downwind from Sunset Beach to Haleiwa Alii Beach along the famed 8 mile miracle coastline at 12 noon. This race provides WPA ranking points to entrants so they can compare themselves to other SUP paddlers across the US. Da Kine stepped up this year and became title sponsor and every age group winner will receive an $80 Da Kine Waist Hydration Pack as a prize. Don’t miss this big event. There is still time to sign up online: http://wetfeetblueplanetsurfrace.eventbrite.com or you can enter race morning on the beach from 9am to 11am. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Wet Feet North Shore Race June 11, 2011
We liked the idea of putting on a longer race on the North Shore and Sunset Beach to Haleiwa seemed perfect because its downwind and at 7 miles a little shorter than the Hawaii Kai run. This will provide a good challenge for accomplished paddlers yet stay within reach of those starting out racing since the water is not as rough as the Hawaii Kai run. We also wanted to start the race at noon since at all the North Shore races when we are getting the awards that is when the wind starts blowing! This race will also be a World Paddle Associaton sanctioned SUP race and is the Regional Qualifier for the Hennessey International Championships in September. This provides Hawaii Racers a chance to qualify for the Hennessey in Hawaii without having to qualify at the Hennessey July 9th National Championship Race. Hawaii racers can also earn points and compare themselves to other racers nationally in their division. Of course we also need to help a worthy cause and Defend Oahu Coalition was a natural because we are in their backyard and want to KEEP THE COUNTRY COUNTRY! You can get more infomation including course maps and instructions at http://www.wetfeethawaii.com/race.html and download an entry form or follow link to enter online. See you there!!
